B2B Does Not Mean "Boring to Boring"
There's a massive misconception in B2B marketing that your buyers are emotionless robots deciding entirely on logic and pricing spreadsheets.
They are humans. And humans buy on emotion, then justify with logic.
Shift the Hero
In standard marketing, the brand makes itself the hero. “Look at our amazing software!” In storytelling marketing, the customer is the hero, and your brand is the guide (the Yoda to their Luke Skywalker).
How to Implement This
- Identify the villain: What is the specific antagonist your buyer faces? (e.g., wasted time, messy spreadsheets, low morale).
- Present the guide: How does your product step in not to save the day, but to empower the hero to save the day?
- Show the transformation: Cast a vision of what their life looks like after success.
Stop selling features. Start selling better versions of your clients.
